Chelbesa - Ethiopia
Summary
This Ethiopian coffee comes from the Chelbesa One Washing Station in Gedeb, Yirgacheffe, where approximately 1,000 smallholder farmers deliver cherry. Managed by SNAP Coffee, the station processes coffee using the washed method: cherries are sorted, floated, depulped, dry fermented for 48-72 hours, washed, and dried on raised beds for 7-10 days. Grown at 2000-2200 MASL. The cup profile is crisp and lightly effervescent with white tea aromatics and flavors of grapefruit, melon, and peach.
