Luis Octavio – Borbon Aji
Summary
Luis Octavio – Borbon aji is a Colombian coffee from the Bruselas region of Huila, produced by Luis Octavio. Grown at around 1760 metres, this lot comes from a parcel of 5000 'borbon aji' plants, a variety named for its chilli-like aroma and colour, though DNA testing reveals it is actually a newly discovered Ethiopian landrace. The coffee is roasted for filter brewing and offers an expressive, clean cup with a tropical fruit explosion.
