Summary

A washed coffee from the Andean highlands surrounding Jaén in the Cajamarca department of northern Peru. Grown by smallholder farmers at 1700-1900 masl on volcanic soils, this coffee is hand-harvested, fermented for 24 hours, then thoroughly washed. It features Bourbon, Catimor and Typica varieties. The cup profile offers red grape, butterscotch and cocoa powder notes with a silky, well-rounded body and clean finish.
