A blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta from the Empaako Collective in the Kabarole District, Rwenzori Mountain region of Uganda. Roasted as omniroast, suitable for all brewing methods including filter, espresso, and automatic machines. Flavour notes include dark chocolate, caramel, cooked stone fruits, pecan, and maple syrup with a very mild apple acidity and full body. Part of the Lichtstrahl project, with €2 per kg donated to support local farmers in the region.
