Colombia El Paraiso Lychee
Summary
A light roast single origin coffee from Finca El Paraíso, owned by pioneering producer Diego Bermudez in the Los Arados village near Pendamo, Cauca, Colombia. Grown at 1650-1850 meters above sea level. Castillo variety. Processed using a proprietary Lychee method: washed with anaerobic and aerobic fermentation using a culture medium made from yellow cascara extract, coffee flower extract, yeast, and mucilage, followed by a thermal shock process. The cup is sweet and floral with notes of salted roasted pecan, yellow cake, strawberry maple syrup, and passion fruit.
