Decaf: Colombia Excelso
Summary
Decaf Colombia Excelso is a decaffeinated single-origin coffee from Colombia, produced by small growers through the Crecer project run by the Racafe coffee group. The coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which gently removes caffeine while retaining the original character. It offers bright apple notes balanced by smooth caramel and lemon. Grown at 1400–2100 metres above sea level, the coffee comprises Castillo and Caturra varieties. The roast is medium-dark and the coffee is suited to both espresso and filter brewing.
