Abana Estate is a family-owned farm in Ethiopia founded by Peter Omran and now managed by his sons Michael and Chris. The name Abana means 'our fathers' in Arabic, honoring the heritage of wild-grown coffee in Ethiopia. The Anderacha lot is named after a river bordering the farm. This coffee undergoes natural processing with a unique 24-36 hour cherry rest period before drying, allowing controlled fermentation that intensifies fruit notes. Tasting notes include black cherry, pineapple, and strawberry. Suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
