Chelbesa One Espresso

Summary

Chelbesa One Espresso is a washed Ethiopian coffee from the Gedeb region, processed at the Chelbesa One washing station managed by SNAP Specialty Coffee. Approximately 1,000 smallholder farmers deliver cherry from high-altitude 2-3 hectare plots. Cherries are floated to remove defects, pulped, dry fermented for 2-3 days, washed, then dried over 7-10 days. Flavor notes include apricot, grape, black tea, mandarin orange, pomegranate, pineapple, and lemon. Roasted slightly darker than the filter version for espresso preparation.
