Grown by smallholder farmers on plots of one hectare or less, intercropped with banana and native shade trees. Landrace varieties above 2,100 meters cup bright, floral, and alive with notes of cherry, jasmine, and lemon. Cherries are mechanically depulped, soaked overnight, and dried slowly on raised beds for 6–8 days.
