Costa Rica Hacienda Sonora Natural
Summary
Costa Rica Hacienda Sonora Natural is a single-origin coffee from the Guardia family farm in Carrillo, Alajuela, Central Valley, Costa Rica. Grown at 1300 meters, this coffee is of the Victoria 14 variety, a cultivar developed on the farm. The cherries are hand-picked and processed using the natural method, dried on African beds and concrete patios for nine days, then rested and finished in a mechanical dryer. It offers a juicy, fruity profile with notes of yellow fruit, golden kiwi, sultana sweetness, and a pleasant citrusy acidity of gooseberry. The farm is known for its sustainable practices and diverse varieties, including Catuai, Caturra, H1, Geisha, and SL28.
