Summary
Uganda Kithuthu is a specialty coffee from smallholder farmers in the Kithuthu community, Kasese District, Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda. Processed at Nyabirongo washing station using a Natural method where selected overripe cherries are piled deeply on raised drying tables to enhance fermentation. Grown at 1600-1800 MASL with SL14 and SL28 varieties. Flavour notes include red berry, maple syrup, and elderflower. Roasted to a medium level and suitable for filter brewing methods.
