Summary

This lot comes from the Caparao region, one of the most prestigious coffee-producing areas in Brazil. The mountainous region with a mild climate all year round has altitudes between 1,100 and 1,400 meters, among the highest in Brazil, allowing the fruits to ripen more slowly for greater sweetness. Produced by Alexandre Lacerda of the Forquilha do Rio farm. The Lacerda family is the most awarded coffee-producing family in Brazil. The Yellow Caparão variety is native to the region and produces beans with citrus and floral notes. After harvest, the coffee cherries are placed in fermentation tanks for anaerobic fermentation for 7 days at controlled temperatures between 27 and 29 degrees. After fermentation, a quick patio drying for 15 days. In the cup, a coffee of high complexity and character with notes of chocolate, slightly alcoholic and fruity, like pineapple and passion fruit. Great sweetness, body and intensity.
