Summary
This coffee comes from the Mutambu Commune of the Mumirwa region in Burundi, produced by 173 smallholders including lead farmer Thomas Kurubone. The cherries were processed at Migoti Coffee's washing station on Migoti Hill, where they were sorted, fermented for one day, pulped, washed, pre-dried in shade for 5 days, then sun-dried on raised beds for 2-3 weeks. The variety is Bourbon, grown at 1800 MASL. The coffee is washed processed and roasted for filter brewing.
