A washed coffee from the Bukonzo Organic Farmers Cooperative in the Rwenzori Mountains of Uganda, grown at 2000-2100 meters above sea level. The coffee comprises SL14 and SL28 varieties. Bukonzo invested in 36 local micro washing stations to produce high quality fully washed coffees, with organic certification. The cooperative supports farmers in one of Uganda's most impoverished regions and emphasises environmental sustainability through organic fertilisers and intercropping.
