Diego Baraona Sl28 Black Honey
Summary
Filter coffee from El Salvador, grown by Diego Baraona at Los Pirineos farm in the Usulután region at 1,600 MASL. The SL28 cultivar, originally from Kenya, is combined with Baraona's signature Black Honey process: cherries are depulped without water and dried on shaded beds in thick piles, where the mucilage ferments to create deep sweetness. The result is a bright, crisp cup with notes of honey, peach and juicy fruit. Roasted ultra-light in Hannover, best enjoyed as filter coffee or long espresso.
