Big Bag Meksyk Chabela Bezkofeinowa
Summary
Chabela is a decaffeinated coffee from the Chiapas region of Mexico, produced by an exporter established in 1980, the first decaffeinator in Latin America. Grown at 100-1300 m and made up of Caturra, Catuai, Bourbon, Catimor, Garnica and Typica varieties, it undergoes a traditional washed process with aerobic fermentation: ripe cherries are pulped, fermented, washed, density-sorted and dried in the open air. The sensory profile is distinctly spicy and aromatic, with notes of cinnamon, lime, tobacco, molasses and dark chocolate. SCA score 83.50.
