Turihamwe – Burundi
Summary
This fully washed Bourbon variety from Burundi is grown at an average of 1750 masl in the Ngozi Province. Sourced through JNP Coffee, the coffee is produced by the Turihamwe women smallholder producers, who established Burundi's first women-owned washing station. The coffee offers a vibrant tangy acidity with fragrant orange blossom florality, juicy ripe apricot notes, and a sweet molasses-like aftertaste. Roasted energetically for filter, this microlot balances vibrant acidity with a sweet finish.
