Summary
A specialty coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, grown on the three-hectare farm of producer Nigist Girmachew at 2,200 meters above sea level. The traditional varieties are cultivated under the shade of banana trees without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Cherries are hand-picked and naturally processed, dried on raised beds for 12 to 15 days. The cup is fruity and floral, with notes of peach, black tea, and caramel butter cookies. Cupping score 88.25. Suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
