El Salvador Apaneca Ilamatepec Phoenix Shg Bio
Summary
A single-origin organic coffee from the Apaneca Ilamatepec region of El Salvador, produced by eleven farmers who joined forces after a coffee rust epidemic. Grown at 1200 meters on volcanic soil, this fully washed Arabica (Tabi and Castillo varieties) offers a mild, round and harmonious cup with elegant sweetness, floral nuances, a hint of stone fruit, and a velvety body. Flavour notes include whole milk chocolate, caramel and orange.
