Summary
A single-origin coffee from Kenya's Kirinyaga region, produced by the Gachatha Farmers Cooperative Society. The cooperative has been operating since 1963 with approximately 1,050 members, most cultivating fewer than 300 coffee trees on less than one hectare. The coffee is washed processed and grown at 1,740 meters altitude. Varieties include Batian, SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11. Flavour notes include redcurrant, plum, and maple syrup. Light roast intended for espresso preparation.
