Etiopía Danche

Summary

Ethiopian washed coffee from the Danche washing station in Chelbessa, Gedeb zone, Sidama, managed by SNAP Specialty Coffee. Around 800 smallholders deliver cherries that are sorted in water, depulped, dry-fermented for about 96 hours, washed, then dried on raised beds for 12-14 days. Grown at roughly 2,200 masl with the traditional Ethiopian varieties Kurume and Wolisho. Light roast with a light body, integrated vibrant acidity and notes of floral, cherry, jasmine and caramel.
