Cyato
Summary
Cyato Coffee Station is located in Rwanda's Western Province, Nyamasheke, at the foot of the Nyungwe forest, at 1,850–2,200 m. Since 2019 the coffee has been processed by Tropic Coffee Company in cooperation with the Abadatezuka cooperative, which brings together 256 smallholder farmers, half of them women. This naturally processed Bourbon offers an elegant, clean profile with sweet raspberry and blackcurrant, delicate hibiscus and a spicy clove finish, balanced by fresh acidity and a velvety body with a long aftertaste. It shines as filter and also works as a lighter espresso.
