Grown by around 400 smallholder farmers at 2000–2300 meters elevation, cherries are processed at the Danche Washing Station by SNAP COFFEE. The coffee is handpicked, sorted, fermented underwater for 72 hours, and sun-dried on raised beds for 8–20 days.
