Finca San José Espresso
Summary
Finca San José Espresso comes from the Coatepec region of Veracruz, Mexico. Producer Alejandro Martinez Anaya cultivates the Anacafe 14 variety, a natural cross between Pacamara and a Catimor species, on his Finca San José farm. The coffee is grown at 1,200 masl and processed by a washed method involving 18 hours of whole-cherry fermentation, followed by washing and a 32-day slow drying under a Casa Elba roof structure. It offers tasting notes of almond, red plum, and cane sugar, with a full body, balanced sweetness, and subtle acidity.
