Ethiopia Bildimoo Bensa Bombe Decaf
Summary
This decaf single origin coffee comes from the Bensa Bombe region in southern Oromia, Ethiopia, grown at 1993-2150 meters above sea level. The coffee is produced by Tariku Kare and sourced from approximately 650 smallholder farmers using local Heirloom varieties. The cherries are processed using the natural method, then decaffeinated in Germany by Coffein Compagnie using the Sugarcane (Ethyl Acetate) method, removing approximately 97% of caffeine while preserving flavour. The espresso roast profile delivers a dense, structured body with tasting notes of apple jam, chocolate, apricots, and brown sugar, offering sweetness, body, and repeatability without caffeine.
