Ethiopia Aricha - Kawa Specialty
Summary
Ethiopia Aricha is a natural-process specialty coffee from the Aricha processing station in Edido, about eight kilometres from Yirgacheffe. Grown by smallholder producers at 1850-1880 m, it is a blend of local Ethiopian heirloom varieties. The coffee is dried whole on raised beds for 8 to 25 days. Roasted dark for espresso, it shows a fruity, floral and distinctly sweet character: dried forest fruits, delicate flowers and caramel-toffee sweetness, with gentle vinous acidity.
