Summary

Shyira Washed is a single-origin coffee from the Nyabihu District in northern Rwanda, produced at the Shyira Washing Station managed by Evariste Hagumimana as part of the Muraho Trading Co. network. Grown at 1,850 m on volcanic soils near the Virunga chain, the Red Bourbon cherries ripen slowly and are washed to highlight freshness and clarity. Filter brew: bright, juicy and elegant with apricot, lemonade and black tea. Espresso: denser with redcurrant, dried apricot, soft sweetness and a dry aftertaste.
