Summary

A washed, special-prep Grade 1 lot from the Bishan Wate Washing Station in Guji, Ethiopia, roasted lightly for filter. It offers blueberry and peach iced tea up front, with ripe prune depth, developing into dried apricot, panela and soft toffee. Bright, tea-like acidity with a long, sweet finish. The coffee balances clarity and texture, remaining vibrant and articulate across filter brewing methods, with juicy fruit, delicate florals and a silky mouthfeel. Grown by around fifty smallholder farmers at elevation in Guji's red soils, the lot undergoes a 48-hour fermentation and slow drying on raised beds for about 21 days.
