Ethiopia Dur Feres

Summary

A natural-process Ethiopian coffee from Dur Feres, grown between 1,800 and 1,960 meters on the deep red nitisol soils of southern Ethiopia. Cherry from smallholder farms is hand-picked and delivered to a shared washing station, where it is floated, density-sorted, hand-sorted on drying tables, and dried in the sun before dry-hulling and export milling in Addis Ababa. In the cup: stone fruit sweetness, a Meyer lemon lift, and a brown sugar finish.
