Kenya Great Rift Nandi (anaerobic Natural)
Summary
A Kenyan coffee from the Nandi Hills region, produced by Great Rift Coffee, a family-run farm. This lot is sourced from smallholder farmers and processed using an anaerobic natural method: cherries are hand sorted, floated, fermented in sealed barrels for 96 hours, then slowly sun-dried. The cup offers blueberry and morello cherry flavours with a sweet and sour finish, layered with chocolate and full body. Grown at 1900-2100 meters, this coffee highlights the emerging specialty potential of Nandi Hills.
