Gura Aa - Kenya

Summary

A washed Kenyan coffee from the Gura mill in Nyeri, produced by about 500 smallholder families of the Othaya FCS cooperative. Grown on volcanic soil at 1,700–1,900 meters, the SL28 and SL34 varieties undergo a meticulous washed process with 24–48 hour fermentation and sun-drying on raised beds. The cup offers blackberry, red cherry, pineapple, ripe mango, and sugarcane sweetness with a lively, pineapple-like acidity.
