Colombia Lavender Haze

Summary

Single-lot Colombian coffee from Finca Nogales' Yarumo lot, grown from Orange Bourbon at high elevation. Selectively hand-picked ripe cherries are washed, sanitized, density-sorted by flotation and dry pulped, then fermented naturally for 24 hours in their own sugars before drying in contact with jasmine flowers for about three weeks. The cup is vibrant and aromatic, led by delicate lavender and balanced by juicy yellow fruit, orange and papaya, with a smooth texture and floral complexity. Tasting notes of lavender, rosemary, lime, bergamot, lemongrass, papaya, elderflower and herbs.
