Sweet Petal - Filter
Summary
Sweet Petal is a washed Ethiopian coffee from the Yirgacheffe region, specifically from the Chelchele washing station in the Kochere district. It is produced by several small-scale farmers who grow Ethiopian heirloom varieties on small plots using traditional methods. The cherries undergo a special processing method (Special Prep) with rigorous sorting, fermentation for 8–12 hours, and drying on African beds for 5–15 days, resulting in a Grade 1 rating. In the cup, it offers a delicate floral profile with notes of jasmine, almond, and yellow peach, complemented by subtle fruity sweetness and juicy, balanced acidity.
