Summary
A washed Kenyan coffee from the Gicherori Factory in Kibugu, Embu County, grown at 1,600-1,800m altitude on the volcanic slopes of Mount Kenya. Produced by approximately 1,200 smallholder farmers who deliver handpicked cherries. Features SL28 and SL34 varietals. The coffee undergoes a washed process with fermentation and sun-drying on raised beds. Flavour profile includes gooseberry, blackcurrant, and green apple with bright acidity, silky texture, and a sweet lingering finish. Roasted to a light-medium level suitable for both filter and espresso.
