Imena is a coffee from the Western Province of Rwanda, Rusizi district, grown at 1800-2000 meters above sea level. It is produced by smallholder farmers working with the Imena washing station, which operates under the Coffee Business Center Ltd (CBC). The coffee is processed using the washed method with spontaneous fermentation and features the Red Bourbon variety. Flavour notes include loquat, rose hip, and raisin.
