Guatemala Meissa Vgn | Origem Única
Summary
Single-origin Guatemalan coffee from the Pampojilá farm in the Atitlán region, produced by Alex Herrera, fifth generation of a coffee family. Grown at 1,480–1,800 m.a.s.l. on the slopes of the Atitlán volcano above Lake Atitlán, this 100% Caturra lot is hand-picked selectively between January and March, anaerobically fermented as whole cherries and dried outdoors using the Sleeping Bag technique. SCA score 88. In the cup it shows a winey profile led by blackcurrant, with passion fruit, pineapple, lychee, kiwi, melon and tangerine, grounded by dark chocolate; lively malic, citric and tartaric acidity and a medium, creamy body. Medium roast (City+), recommended for V60.
