Summary
Faros is an award-winning espresso blend (3 Star Great Taste Award 2021) composed of three high-quality coffees from Ethiopia, Brazil and Rwanda. It features Yellow Catuai, Bourbon and Heirloom varieties, processed as washed and natural, grown at 1300-1800m. The Ethiopian component brings almond notes and citric sweetness, the Brazilian single-estate bean adds complex dark chocolate bitterness and vanilla, while the Rwandan Kinini AA contributes juicy sweet raspberry and a subtle floral finish. Official tasting notes include strawberry, walnut and elderflower. It can be brewed through paper filter for a soft, light cup or as espresso at a 1:2 ratio.
