Finca La Familia
Summary
Finca La Familia is a single-origin coffee from Peru, produced by Rogelio Pena Huaman and neighbouring families in Nazareth de la Cumbre, Cajamarca. Grown at 1700 masl, the coffee is of the Typica and Caturra varieties. It undergoes an anaerobic washed process: selectively harvested, floated, pulped, then sealed in GrainPro bags for 48 hours of fermentation, followed by solar drying for approximately 25 days. The roast is light, resulting in a medium body and medium acidity with tasting notes of chocolate mousse, brown sugar and green apple. Suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
