Summary

A bright and fruity natural processed coffee from Hacienda Sonora in Costa Rica's Valle Central region, grown at 1300 masl on the slopes of the Poás Volcano. Producer Alberto Guardia grows the Caturra variety on 45 hectares of coffee land shaded by native trees. After selective handpicking, the ripe cherries are dried naturally on raised beds or patios. The farm runs entirely on renewable hydroelectric energy. Flavour notes include raspberry, grapefruit and dark chocolate. Roasted for filter brewing.
