This Burundi coffee comes from the Kayanza region, sourced from the Nemba washing station where over 1,000 smallholder farmers work with Greenco Coffee. The farms are located at around 1,700 meters elevation near the Kibila forest. Made from Red Bourbon variety, processed using Yeast Inoculated (Intenso) Dry Natural method with LALCAFÉ INTENSO™ yeast for a controlled 36-hour fermentation, followed by 2-3 weeks of drying on African beds.
