Summary

GITWE is a fully washed coffee from the Gitwe washing station near Gatare in Nyamasheke, Western Province, Rwanda. Produced by Gitwe Producers and supported by the Rwanda Trading Company (RTC), this coffee is grown at 1800m elevation from Red Bourbon varietals. The cherries are sorted, depulped, fermented, washed in channels, and dried for up to 15 days using natural spring water. The cup offers juicy cranberry, sweet dried apple, fragrant black tea, and fine acidity with elegant clarity and a balanced profile.
