Kenya Rianjagi
Summary
Single origin washed coffee from Embu, Kenya, produced by approximately 2,500 smallholder women farmers of the Rianjagi Cooperative Society, established in 1976 in Ngandori East, Mutunduri, within the Mount Kenya region. Grown at 1,600-1,750 MASL on rich volcanic soils, the SL28 and SL34 varieties are fully washed. The cup shows a vivid hibiscus note with layers of fruit and florality, delicate vanilla blossom and the crisp, concentrated brightness of dried kiwi, a lush body and vibrant acidity with a long, expressive finish.
