Summary

Ayacucho is a washed coffee from Peru, grown in the mountains of Ancco in the southern Cusco region by the Ayacucho Collective, a co-operative of sixteen coffee-producing families. The coffee is grown under native shade trees on fertile volcanic soil, with varieties Typica and Bourbon. Harvested between May and September, this light-roast filter coffee offers flavour notes of golden raisin and peach compote, producing a sweet and bright cup with balanced body and acidity.
