Costa Rica, Aquiares Estate Red Honey, Diego Robelo
Summary
Single origin Costa Rican coffee from Aquiares Estate, produced by Diego Robelo on the slopes of the Turrialba volcano, bordered by two rivers. The farm grows exclusively the Esperanza varietal at 1200 meters. Red honey processing retains more mucilage during drying to accentuate lush tropical fruit notes. Roasted light-medium, it cups with notes of pluot, mandarin orange and muscat grape.
