Chelbesa One - Washed Landrace
Summary
A washed coffee from the Gedeb Zone, Ethiopia, produced by approximately 1,000 farmers delivering cherries to the Chelbesa One washing station. This lot primarily consists of Ethiopian heirloom varieties Korume and Wolisho. The washed processing involves floating for sorting, depulping, dry fermentation in tanks for 2-3 days, washing, and drying on raised beds for 7-10 days. Tasting notes include lavender, juicy peach, and bright tangerines, with a sparkling finish, light body, and citric acidity. Light roast.
