Abel Salinas is a Cup of Excellence winner and first-generation coffee grower from Saraguro, Loja, Ecuador. His farm Finca Arashi sits at 1900 MASL. This coffee is processed using the washed method: de-pulped, dry-fermented for 24 hours, washed, then dried for 15 days. The variety is Mejorado, a cross-pollination of Bourbon and Ethiopian Landrace. It offers a bright, delicate and sweet profile with soft florals, intense lemon acidity, juicy citrus, and notes of pear, with a long sweet finish.
