Tabe Burka
Summary
Tabe Burka is a honey-processed Ethiopian coffee from the Uraga district of Guji, produced by Tabe Burka at Oboleyan Coffee's wet mill. The lot is composed of Kurume, 74110, and 74112 varieties, grown by 148 smallholder outgrowers in Baldicha hamlet at altitudes around 2330 meters. After pulping, the cherries are dried on African raised beds for about three weeks, preserving part of the mucilage for added sweetness. The cup is sweet and refined with notes of apricot, bergamot, orange blossom, and lemon tea.
