A single origin light roast coffee from the Kibingo washing station in Kayanza, Burundi, part of the Greenco Coffee Company. This coffee is made from Red Bourbon variety beans grown at 1700-1900 masl and processed using the Intenso Natural method, a yeast-assisted natural fermentation process using LALCAFÉ INTENSO yeast. The cup profile is sweet and crisp with notes of watermelon, lime, and green apple, described as reminiscent of an intense watermelon margarita. The washing station supports over 3,500 local smallholder farmers and participates in community projects including the Burundi Livestock Project.
