Mexico Carlos Cadena
Summary
Mexico Carlos Cadena is a natural-processed specialty coffee from Finca Pocitos in Cosautlan, Veracruz, Mexico. Grown at 1,400 m by fifth-generation farmer Carlos Cadena, this lot uses the Mundo Maya variety (a Sarchimor and Ethiopian heirloom cross). It offers a sparkling, full body with berry fruit, honey sweetness and red wine acidity, with notes of dark grapes, aronia and nut butter. On filter it shows yellow pears, physalis and cocoa, while on espresso it reveals red wine, blood orange and sangria.
