Carter's Wake Espresso Blend
Summary
A balanced espresso blend from seven small-scale producers in the Chalatenango region of El Salvador, spanning La Palma, San Ignacio and neighbouring municipalities. Grown at 1400–1800m altitude, the blend combines 75% fully washed and 25% natural processed Arabica coffees. Traditional farming methods are used, with diverse forestry including ingas, pines, cypresses, cedars and fruit trees. The cup profile offers notes of brown sugar, dark chocolate, cherry and nuttiness with a fermented complexity, medium body and medium acidity.
